CLICK HERE TO SCHEDULE A MOVE IN APPOINTMENTFor almost 10 years, HolBrock Estates has served homeless, needy and vulnerable adults and youth in various capacities. Though we started in Virginia, our services are now focused on efforts in Baltimore City Maryland. To date, our programs and professional services have positively impacted more than 5,000 people - the majority of whom live below the critical poverty level and are unable to receive services from other human service providers due to the severity of their mental, physical, or emotional disabilities or circumstances. With continued support from foundations, corporations, government agencies, and individuals, we are able to provide individualized and specialized services to those in need. Your contribution makes a difference in supporting programs that offer education, job training, life skills, stable housing, entitlement advocacy, healthy food and employment opportunities to individuals with disabilities or those experiencing financial hardship.
Our mission is to assist economically disadvantaged, disabled and high-risk citizens of Baltimore City, Washington, D.C., and Prince Georges County with achieving their fullest potential through first meeting their basic needs of survival (housing and linkage to support services) from a holistic approach.
Our vision is that individuals, regardless of disability or socio-economic status, reach their fullest potential. The capacity for individuals to realize this potential is often suppressed by homelessness, physical and emotional challenges and the inability to sufficiently meet one's own basic needs. We are committed to providing the necessary support that allows individuals to successfully stabilize and improve their lives to the extent they are able to give back to the Community.
Anyone can come to us to receive help and income is not required at the time of intake but will eventually be needed to pay for your stay. If needed, we will link you with a community based behavioral health program to help you obtain entitlement benefit income or gainful employment. Recipients only must demonstrate need for services, a desire to improve / stabilize their situation to be eligible. Interested persons must have a physical, mental, or emotional issue that limits their ability to function in the community independently. To be eligible for housing, individuals must participate in services offered by the program to help cope with physical, mental, or emotional issues displayed.
In effort to make the services we offer more accessible at the time of need, we can assist with housing on the first day you encounter HolBrock Estates. Homelessness can be a barrier to your mental health treatment and overall wellness. If you have no income, and you meet certain eligibility guidelines, we can help you find funding to support your supportive housing cost. Our supportive housing units are shared and have the option of meals being included or not. Based on a program participant's need, HolBrock Estates will make an immediate behavioral health services referral to a vetted, community based, behavioral health provider with the goal of stabilization. The assisted living programs offer by HolBrock Estates are licensed by the Office of Health Care Quality.
